The work volunteers cannot do
Most congregations already have volunteers handling light cleaning, and the honest sale is not to replace them. It is the work an hour after a service will never absorb.

Where a preschool shares the building
Many churches host a preschool or childcare ministry in part of the building. Where that is the case, the background-screening requirement that governs school work applies to those areas, and it should be settled before a contract is signed.
- Level 2 screening for any crew member working those rooms while children are present.
- Food-contact surfaces and changing tables cleaned and disinfected between uses, to the licensing standard rather than the church schedule.
- Nursery toys and soft furnishings on a stated rotation.
- Screening status confirmed per individual before the first visit.
A calendar, not a schedule
Usage peaks Sunday, but the building works all week: midweek services, evening ministries and rentals each leave their own mess on their own timeline. Cleaning has to follow that calendar, not a fixed weekday slot.

Can you clean on Mondays after Sunday services?
Yes, and for most congregations that is the right schedule. The building sees its heaviest use Sunday and needs to be reset early in the week, with additional turnarounds after weekday-evening events.
How often should a church be cleaned?
By area, not by a single number. The sanctuary and gathering spaces need attention weekly at minimum. Restrooms and any nursery or childcare rooms are sized to the Sunday peak, which is the honest measure of the building's traffic, and kitchens and fellowship halls follow the events calendar. Floor care, high dusting in a sanctuary with height, and pew or chair detail run monthly to quarterly, with the deep work landing in the low seasons. We have volunteers who clean. What would you actually do?
The work volunteers cannot practically take on: floor care on a proper cycle, restrooms at Sunday scale, high dusting in the sanctuary, and periodic deep cleaning. Most congregations keep their volunteers and add us for those items.
Do you clean church preschool and childcare areas?
Yes, with the same background-screening requirement that applies to school work. Where a childcare ministry shares the building, that requirement covers those areas and we establish it before starting.
